Episode 24: New Fat Head’s Facility, CLE Metroparks, and Ugly MLB Jerseys

In our latest episode, we dive right into a debate Jordan and Dan have been hashing out on Twitter: are the MLB’s “Player’s Weekend” jerseys and hats ugly? Jordan thinks so, but Dan thinks otherwise…let us know your thoughts.

After that, Dan and Jordan (Jimmy was out for this week) review the new Fat Head’s beer hall and production facility in Middleburg Heights. The LOTL crew stopped by the 75,000 sq. ft. facility earlier in the week and was very impressed. It’s a massive facility with lots of fun features, delicious food, and of course, lots of fresh beer. Next up, we talked our top five favorite spots at the beautiful Cleveland Metroparks. Around that time, we were joined by our guest Steve Stephano, one of Dan’s long-time friends. We reminisce about memories at various locations at the parks. After that, we preview Cleveland’s Oktoberfest, National Air Show, and the St. Rocco’s Italian Festival.

We conclude talking sports. First, we review Episode 4 of Hard Knocks, which explored more of bubble players like Nate Orchard, Devon Cajuste and Carl Nassib, rookie day, and more. Steve and Jordan concluded the episode by reviewing the English Premier League season so far (both are huge EPL fans; Steve roots for Newcastle and Jordan roots for Tottenham). They make their top four predictions and talk about the best bars to watch Premier League games in Cleveland.
