We got extra spooky in Episode 31 since the season of spooky is upon us…
The episode begins with a discussion of our top five favorite Halloween candies while we sipped on the beer of the week, Terrestrial Brewing’s Citropapotomus Wheat IPA. Guest Steve Stephano led things off for the delicious discussion, which led right into our poll of the week that asked how our followers celebrate Halloween: costumes and candy, or scary movies and haunted houses?
Next up we dove into sports, where we talked about the Browns crushing blowout loss to the Chargers. What does it mean? Should Browns fans be worried, or is this just a routine blowout to a stronger team? We then make predictions for the Browns vs. the Buccaneers this week. We also preview the new Cavs, who will play without LeBron for the first time in four years.
LOTL then reviews Griffin Cider House, which is exactly what it sounds like. Aside from their house ciders, they offer tons of other ciders and they also specialize in gin cocktails. It’s a cozy little place on Madison in Lakewood. We also review a cool feature article from Thrillist, “How Cleveland Got Over LeBron and Became Legitimately Fun.”
We end the night previewing some spooky events, including a ghost tour of Ohio City and a fun pumpkin carving event.
