Episode 42: Fyre Fraud, Cleveland Beerfest, & Too Many Breweries?

One positive thing about brutal winter weather is that you have an excuse to sit down, get cozy and listen to a podcast!

Episode 42 rolls in with two guests! First, we have Steve, our frequent correspondent and writer, and second, we have Paul, who was one of the original co-hosts! We recorded live at Saucy Brew Works, one of our favorite breweries in the CLE.

While we sip on our Saucy brews (which are obviously our brew of the week), we start the podcast discussing the wild article from ESPN about the Browns utter dysfunction and mayhem in the last 6 years since the Haslams took over. We chatted about some of the wildest tidbits, including a ridiculous reason why Jimmy Haslam didn’t draft Teddy Bridgewater (in favor of Johnny Manziel) and some bizarre admissions from the Haslams.

After sports, we resume our newest segment, “What’s Happening”. This week, we discuss the bizarre and chaotic failed music festival, Fyre Festival. It’s hilarious, sad, and infuriating, and Hulu and Netflix both debuted documentaries about it. Dan and Jordan watched both of them, and they compare and contrast the two.

We resume the episode discussing our poll of the week (are there too many breweries in Cleveland?), followed by a review of Saucy Brew Works and a preview of the Cleveland Winter Beerfest.
